Building Superintendent (Off Campus Apartment Rental Housing)
A building superintendent is assigned to each off campus rental housing unit. At most larger off-campus housing complexes the superintendent is on-site. The superintendent is the manager for your apartment building, responsible for simple repairs and maintenance. In addition, your superintendent provides lockout service and will make service requests to the Facilities Department when larger repairs requiring a specialized technician or campus grounds or maintenance shop are needed.
Superintendent Hours
Each superintendent has has an office but generally will be found working on the premises Monday through Friday. You may however, call the office at any time and leave a message. Your superintendent will return your call. A superintendent is also on-call after hours and on weekends. However, to report major maintenance issues please contact Facilities Customer Services. Customer Services staff have the ability to reach your superintendent directly.
