Replacement In Campus Buildings
Our custodial staff routinely replaces burnt out lightbulbs in interior university fixtures that can be reached safely from a 6-foot ladder or with a special extension pole. Bulbs in more difficult locations are changed by the Electric Shop.
To Request This Service
Contact the Facilities Service Center or submit an online work request. Please include the following information when making the request:
- Building name
- Room number
- Type of fixture (ceiling, wall, desk, fluorescent, etc.)
- Indicate if the fixture is unusually high (cannot be reached from a 6-foot ladder)
Service Fees
This is a non billable service.
Note:
Bulbs in personal lamps are the responsibility of the owner.
