Replacing Light Bulbs
In Campus Buildings
Our custodial staff routinely replaces burnt out light bulbs in interior university fixtures that can be reached safely from a 6-foot ladder or with a special extension pole. Bulbs in more difficult locations are changed by the electric shop.
To request a bulb replacement
Contact Facilities Customer Service Center at (609) 258-8000 or by placing an online work request. Please include the following information when making the request:
- Building name
- Room number
- Type of fixture (ceiling, wall, desk, fluorescent, etc.)
- Indicate if the fixture is unusually high (cannot be reached from a 6-foot ladder)
This is a free service
Note:
Bulbs in personal lamps are the responsibility of the owner.
