Building painting is done on a schedule or an as-needed basis and is frequently done in conjunction with other planned maintenance, alterations, or upgrades of campus spaces. Because interior painting can be disruptive to normal occupancy activities, large painting jobs are often scheduled for the summer months, holiday and vacation periods, or weekends. Every effort is made to paint offices during changes of occupancy, while an office or residence is empty.

Color Standards
The Office of Design and Construction has established certain color standards for general use throughout campus buildings.

Special Requests
The Painters will coordinate special color requests or painting needs with the Office of Design and Construction.

To Request This Service
Painting can be requested by contacting the Facilities Service Center or by submitting an online service request.  Please provide the following information:

• Building name
• Room number
• Contact information
• Account number when applicable service will be charged

Service Fees
Painting done as part of regular maintenance is non billable. Special requests and requests outside of the maintenance cycle are billable.
