Noel White, Sr. Group Vice President, Tyson Foods and Tyson chaplains
"Wartburg Corporate Education Day" - October 9, 2012
For FWI's first off-site Faith and Ethics in the Executive Suite event, Dr. David W. Miller interviewed Noel White, senior group vice president of Tyson Fresh Meats, Inc., a leader in the protein business. They discussed a range of issues, including Tyson Foods' core value of "striving to be a faith-friendly company," and how it sought to accommodate and support people of various faith traditions, including through Tyson's Chaplaincy Program. Miller also led a panel discussion with White and some of their workplace chaplains about faith in the workplace. Miller and White also discussed some of the potential challenges and benefits to companies and their employees who choose value spirituality in the workplace.
