Education + Training: Overview
Intimate opportunities to develop skills and engage in experiential learning abound at the Fields Center. Whether you prefer one-on-one counseling, group dialogue or hands-on activities and workshops, we are able to help you align your goals with practical methods that foster community building and leadership.
Students are particularly encouraged to use our resources when they strive to assume leadership positions on campus, such as residential advisers, student government members, Outdoor and Community Action leaders and officers of student organizations. It is particularly important to seek our resources when you are in such a position yet have limited experience with group dynamics and/or people of diverse backgrounds.
All members of the Princeton community and its surroundings can benefit from one-time events, including speakers, films and conferences, that have been designed to raise awareness and understanding. Experts at the Fields Center also are available to design specific programs for groups and priority is given to dealing with issues related to our four pillars of empowerment, understanding, social justice and leadership.
