Overview
Members of the campus community who wish to use the Fields Center as a facility must be aware that they are responsible for all aspects of an event, from set up to clean up. Fields Center staff only become actively involved in events when such events are sponsored or cosponsored by the center.
We can help you create, plan and implement successful events. When events are related to the Fields Center priorities, more detailed consultation may be requested by e-mailing caf@princeton.edu.
Developing Programs
If you need help coming up with program ideas or would like to share ideas for programs that could be sponsored by the Fields Center, we encourage you to engage with us in dialogue. Because we have partnerships with a broad cross-section of campus and community members, we have an ideas bank that can be shared. At the same time, we're always interested in innovative ideas and need your input. To ask for help or submit your ideas, please e-mail caf@princeton.edu.
Forming Groups
Group dynamics are studied worldwide and are often difficult to control. If you are a student who needs help in forming a new group, it is important to be aware of the high level of commitment of time and other resources that such an endeavor will take. Likewise, if you have faced challenges in sustaining an existing group, such as members losing interest or failing to deliver promised tasks or tension between participants, you may need team-building consultation. Fields Center staff are available to provide both lessons in group dynamics and leadership development.
