Resources: Overview
The Fields Center serves as an information hub, particularly for those interested in our four pillars: empowerment, understanding, social justice and leadership. We have unique resources as well as information about resources that others provide.
Educational Resources
Our libraries contain books, periodicals, computers and videos for research on cultural, historical and social justice issues. The multimedia library contains more than 400 films that can be borrowed. We also have user-friendly information on careers in fields related to our four pillars.
Financial Resources
Funding is available for student and community groups for programs related to the Fields Center's mission. Priority is given to affiliated groups and partners.
Physical Facilities
The building at 58 Prospect Avenue serves as a social gathering center and also has space for programming, cultural and other events. The center sponsors a variety of annual events, including ethnic and cultural theme months, but also opens our space for use by others.
Training Resources
Fields Center staff provide programmatic and technical advice to individuals and affiliated student groups, such as those focused on leadership and mentoring. We also help students and partners develop ideas for training, workshops and retreats.
