The 1968-69 Triangle production, A Different Kick,
marked a turning point in the history of this musical theater organization,
as its cast for the first time included a woman—critical language
student Sue Jean Lee. Many alumni walked out of the theatre the
moment she appeared on stage to sing, “I’ve Got a Tiger by
the Tail.” Undiscouraged, Lee was one of nine “critters”
who transferred to the newly-coeducational University for her senior year
in 1969, becoming one of the first female Princeton graduates.
