Every year, Princeton University graduates several students from its Army ROTC program who then spend four years in military service.  Some Princetonians also take part in the Air Force ROTC through its local detachment at Rutgers University in New Brunswick.  This jungle combat training program picture of Jeanne Sirovatka ’93 (left), Naomi Sullivan ’93 and Anna Muzzy ’92 was taken in 1991, the year in which Princeton’s Army ROTC Tiger Battalion won a General Douglas MacArthur Award, given annually to the best ROTC programs in the United States.
