Though Princeton students take their studies quite seriously, many have
also used the University community to gain entrepreneurial experience.
The Princeton Student Agencies are small-scale businesses providing services
for the University community, from newspaper and bottled water delivery
to film and tuxedo rentals. Over time, the agencies have adapted
themselves to fit the changing needs of the community. For instance,
in the 1950s baby boom, the Princeton Tiger Toddler Tending Agency (shown
here) placed undergraduates in part-time childcare jobs.
