Should I Attend FSI?
If you are invited to FSI, it is because we hope that you will attend! The transition from high school to Princeton is challenging for all students, and FSI offers you an opportunity to familiarize yourself with Princeton’s campus and culture in advance of the fall term – engaging your research, writing, and quantitative skills in the process.
In addition to the early exposure to Princeton’s curriculum and advising, FSI also offers students the opportunity to become part of a meaningful social community, not just for the summer but for all four years at Princeton. Many students report that FSI not only helped them thrive at Princeton, but also helped them make valuable and lasting friendships. FSI alumni are invited to special day trips and dinners throughout the academic year, and periodic reunion events help alumni meet and connect with former freshman scholars from across all class years.
