Cecilia Rouse, who joined Princeton’s faculty in 1992, became dean of the University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International affairs in 2011. She is the founding director of the Princeton University Education Research Section, and is a member of the National Academy of Education and a research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research. Rouse has served as an editor of the Journal of Labor Economics. She is currently a senior editor of The Future of Children and is on the editorial board of the American Economic Journal: Economic Policy. From 1998 to 1999 she served in the White House on the National Economic Council, and from 2009 to 2011 was a member of the President’s Council of Economic Advisers.
