Institute director is recipient of Dan David Prize
2/29/12 - Institute Director David Botstein is a recipient of a 2012 Dan David Prize. Prizes of one million dollars are annually awarded for achievements having an outstanding scientific, technological, cultural or social impact on our world. Dr. Botstein shares his prize with Eric Lander (Broad Institute) and J. Craig Venter (J. Craig Venter Institute). The Dan David Foundation is headquartered at Tel Aviv University, and recognizes and encourages innovative and interdisciplinary research that cuts across traditional boundaries and paradigms.
