11/25/13 The Lewis-Sigler Institute was endowed through a generous gift from Peter B. Lewis, class of 1955, to honor his dear friend and Princeton roommate, Paul B. Sigler, class of 1955. The founding gift to the Institute is just one of several major contributions that he made to Princeton University and beyond. (Full story)
11/14/13 - The What Would I Say? app was created by Princeton graduate students Harvey Cheng (EE), Ugne Klibaite (QCB), Alex Furge (ORFE), Daniel Jiang (ORFE), Pawel Przytycki (COS), Vicky Yao COS) and Edward Young (PHY) during this year’s HackPrinceton event. The app takes a users’ old Facebook status updates and produces new phrases out of them.
11/1/13 - William Bialek, the John Archibald Wheeler/Battelle Professor in Physics and the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics, is the recipient of the 2014 Swartz Prize for Theoretical and Computational Neuroscience from the Society for Neuroscience.
