GEO/EEB Announces Princeton University Python Community - 01/21/2014 - 3 p.m.- 5 p.m. - Guyot Hall Room 100
The Departments of Geosciences (GEO) and Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (EEB) announce monthly meetings for Python users at Princeton University. Python is an open source, dynamic computer languages with communities worldwide. "Princeton University Python Community" will be meeting every 2 weeks to share, discuss, and improve the Python Experience at Princeton.
"Princeton University Python Community" is co-founded and hosted by postdoctoral research associates Quentin Caudron (EEB) and Paul Gauthier (GEO). A website has recently been created http://princetonpy.com and an introductory hand-on meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in Guyot 100, 3-5 pm.
Members of Princeton University can join by sending an email to Paul Gauthier (email@example.com) or Quentin Caudron (firstname.lastname@example.org), or to the official community email at email@example.com. There is also a signup form on the group’s home page: http://princetonpy.com. Contact Gauthier and Caudron if you have any questions regarding Python and the plans for this new community. The group looks forward to welcoming all Princeton Python users at any level: beginner, intermediate, expert or simply those who are interested in learning more about it.
