Princeton Undergraduate Geological Society (PUGS) is excited to invite you to this Saturday's
Princyclopedia Book Convention
April 6th, 2013
Dillon Gym, 10am-3pm

For those of you unfamiliar with Princyclopedia, it is an annual, interactive 'book convention' geared towards the children in the nearby communities with the aim of bringing the University and the Princeton community together. There are tons of activities, live shows, and other demonstrations all centered around one book. This year the book is "Journey to the Center of the Earth."  There will be dinosaur fossils, tunnels, science experiments, and most exciting...a PUGS BOOTH!

PUGS has been working with the Department of Geosciences and the Cotsen Children's Library to put together an informative and entertaining booth for both the children and other PUGS members. PUGS will have some of the department's larger rocks on displays, fun 'hardness/streak' tests for the kids, and a florescent mineral exhibit.

Last year, Princyclopedia had over 4,000 visitors and they are hoping to have even more this year. It is a great event and a wonderful opportunity for PUGS to give back to the community.

PUGS hope that you are able to join them on Saturday. Please write to PUGS president, Charlotte Conner ’14 at at ceconner@princeton.edu for more information on volunteer opportunities.

Rock on,
Charlotte, Nathan, Kathleen, Trevor & Yuem
