Bhairav Se Bhairavi: An Indian Classical Music Concert shared at Guyot Hall


The Association of South Asians at Princeton  (ASAP) is organizing a free music concert on Thursday, September 26th, 7:30 pm at McCosh Hall 10. Attached is a flyer which you are welcome to share with family and friends.

ASAP has announced that they will be hosting Bhairav Se Bhairavi: An Indian Music Concert. The concert is scheduled to feature an assortment of Bandish, Tarana, Thumri, Ghazal, Natyageet, Bhajan, and Film Songs. On hand will be Hindustani classical vocalists: Pt. Vijay Koparkar, Dattaprasad Ranade, and Sayali Shellikar. Narration will be in English by Dr. Milind Oak.

The concert has a free admission (donations appreciated) and all are welcome.

On the organizing committee are Princeton University students: GEO grad student Pathikrit Bhattacharya, Ashutosh Thakur '14 (econ. major), Sourindra Chaudhuri (grad student, electrical engineering), and Tejal Bhamre (grad. student, physics).  Sponsors for the concert are Dr. Arka Mukherjee (Global IDs, Princeton) and the Davies International Center.
