GEO/AOS graduate students Abigale Wyatt and Allison Hogikyan have each received a fellowship award in the 2019 NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program. This fellowship program recognizes young scientists early in their graduate training to support a foundation in Science, Technology, Education and Mathematics (STEM) fields. Students are supported for a period of three years to reinforce their research plans. Both Wyatt and Hogikyan work with Prof Laure Resplandy in the research of Biogeochemical Oceanography.

The Department of Geosciences would like to congratulate both students at this significant time of recognition. We wish them the best regarding their studies and pursuits within the department.
