A letter from Bess Ward regarding Geosciences' Graduate Research Symposium scheduled this fall
Dear Colleagues in GEO and AOS,
On behalf of the graduate student work committee in GEO, I invite all Graduate Students and faculty to participate in a Graduate Research Symposium that is planned for this fall. One objective is to facilitate communication and collaboration among graduate students at neighboring institutions, so take this opportunity to reach out to colleagues and potential colleagues (see attached announcement for cooperating institutions).
We would like to encourage full participation across the department to experience the breadth of research in our diverse field. Abstracts are due in June and the symposium is scheduled for September 2011.
Please visit Geosciences Graduate Student Symposium on our website for details. Please contact Andrew Babbin (email@example.com) with questions about organization, etc.
Hope to see you all there!
