The director of Science, Technology and Environmental Policy (STEP) and Geosciences professor, Michael Oppenheimer, has shared the news that a member of his group, Solomon Hsiang, has been awarded the AGU’s “Science for Solutions Award.”
July's mineral of the month is Natrolite from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. It is from the tectosilicate zeolite group.
The Theoretical & Computational Seismology Research Group attended the CIG/QUEST/IRIS jointworkshop on seismic imaging of structure and source fromthe 14th to 17th of July in Fairbanks, Alaska.
