Lisa Cerami is a PhD candidate working on a dissertation entitled "Ineffable Histories: German Modernism and Mystical Experience, 1900-1933". Publications include "Ein Manifest der Erlösung. Walter Muschgs Tragische Literaturgeschichte" in Barbara Hahn, ed. "Im Nachvollzug des Geschriebenseins. Theorie der Literatur nach 1945" (Königshausen & Neumann, 2007). Research interests include literary, visual, and architectural Expressionism, 19th and 20th century literature and criticism, Medieval reception history in the 19th and 20th centuries, Christian and Jewish mystical poetics, and the aesthetic production of "space". Currently the assistant director of the Princeton German Summer Work Program.
