Profile

ROBERT PETER EBERT specializes in Germanic philology and linguistics. He received his Ph.D. in German and linguistics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Before coming to Princeton, he taught at the University of Chicago and the University of California-Berkeley. He has published widely in historical syntax and Early New High German. He regularly teaches courses in the history of German and second language acquisition.
