Lunch seminar: "The Aging Primate in the Natural World" - Susan Alberts

 (More about event)

Susan Alberts is Professor of Biology at Duke University. She has studied the demography, behavior, ecology and genetics of wild primates since 1984. She and her colleagues combine purely observational work, on wild baboons in southern Kenya, with genetic and hormonal tools that help reveal behavioral and demographic processes. Her research addresses the fitness consequences of behavior as well as its physiological correlates and its population level consequences. A particular current interest is health and aging.
