Anticipated opening for a Postdoctoral Research Associate
The interdisciplinary Program in Global Health and Health Policy, administered by the Woodrow Wilson School, invites outstanding researchers to apply for appointment as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. We seek strong interdisciplinary candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas: demography, economics, epidemiology, disease ecology, global health, public health, social and political determinants of health, vaccines.
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will collaborate on the academic activities of the program in Global Health and Health Policy. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will also dedicate time to his or her own research and writing and may have the opportunity to teach in one of Princeton's undergraduate programs. Any teaching is contingent on sufficient enrollments and must be approved by the Dean of the Faculty.
The term of the appointment is one year, starting September 1, 2014, with the possibility of up to two, one-year renewals contingent upon satisfactory performance and continued funding. The selected candidate is expected to be in residence during the term of appointment.
Applicants should have received a doctorate or equivalent degree within three years of application, and demonstrate commitment to conduct primary research in public health, nationally or internationally, with a focus on policy application.
