Research interest: Oogenesis is crucial for female fertility and for the production of eggs that support proper embryonic development of progeny. I am interested in finding the underlying mechanisms in oogenesis by using Drosophila melanogaster oogenesis as a model. My research project deals specifically with defining the process of oocyte determination from early germline stem cells.
