The Program in Global Health and Health Policy (GHP)

Every GHP student must complete a senior thesis in her/his home department that relates to global health and/or health policy. Fulfillment of this requirement may take one of the following three forms:

1. An integrated thesis on a domestic and/or international health topic
2. A thesis with a final chapter that connects the research to domestic and/or international health and health policy
3. A thesis about a non-health topic, with a separate research paper on a topic of the student’s choosing that is directly relevant to domestic and/or international health and health policy

The thesis/chapter/research paper topic must be approved by the program in the fall of the senior year. The integration of a health topic / chapter into the thesis must be planned from the outset and will involve periodic consultation with the departmental advisor.
