- Hierarchical statistical analyses of municipal governance
- Development of cross-national rating and ranking instruments
- Analysis of political party initiatives on GID

- Experiments using treatments hypothesized to effect Governance of Infectious Disease
- Historical analyses of approaches to disease

- The correlates of stigma
- The diffusion of policy priorities
- The effects of ethnic and other social cleavages on policy preferences
