Academic Policies
The academic policies of the Graduate School are designed to give structure and consistency to the academic programs. These policies are meant to apply across departments and programs and be consistent with the often more specific policies and procedures of individual departments and programs.
Academic policy is set by the Graduate School Office in consultation and with the approval of the Faculty Committee on the Graduate School. The Policy Subcommittee of the Faculty Committee normally serves as the first venue of discussion for new and revised policies.
