As you are completing your electronic application, the department for which you are applying may require you to upload or submit additional materials. Those materials may include writing samples (not to exceed 25 pages), portfolios, music samples and policy memos. Please refer to the Degree-granting Department: Application Requirements chart for a complete listing of additional department requirements. Most additional departmental requirements can be uploaded during the electronic application in the space provided with the exception of architecture portfolios and music samples.
Architecture portfolios MUST be mailed in hard copy format and received by December 31. Due to our holiday schedule anything received through January 2 will be considered on time.
Music samples can be accepted in the following format:
- Preferred Method - Create a website of your work and provide the URL in the space provided within the electronic application.
- MP3 Method - Upload your MP3 music files in the space(s) provided within the electronic application. Please refer to the File Upload Requirements webpage for more information. A maximum of six files will be accepted with each music file size at 10MB or less.
- Mail Method - Mail in your hard copy music sample by December 31.
Please avoid special packaging as this delays the processing of your materials, and does not increase your opportunity for admission. Be sure to include your full name, date of birth and department on all materials sent. Please mail these materials to:
