Orientation
Graduate International Student Orientation is sponsored by the Davis International Center please visit their site to register .
Graduate School Orientation will be held on Monday, September 10, 2012, from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Richardson Auditorium and various campus locations. Lunch and Dinner will be provided.
Your department should be among your first visits. Many departments have orientation sessions or special meetings for first-year students. Your department is the source of information about course offerings and class schedules. The Director of Graduate Studies is the individual who will help you with your curriculum and inform you of your immediate and long-term academic requirements.
Registration
Registration is an on-line, web-based process for both newly entering and continuing graduate students through a site called SCORE (Student Course Online Registration Engine). By going to the SCORE site at the proper time, you will be able to log on and complete the registration process in minutes. This on-line registration site can also be used whenever you need to update your address or phone contact information throughout the year. In addition, you can visit the Change My Info website to update other information at anytime.
SCORE will be open and available for student registration on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 7:00 a.m. and will close on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. More details and specific instructions about using SCORE will be sent to you by the Registrar's Office during the month of August.
Students can also use SCORE to select courses. The Graduate School advises, however, that new graduate students wait to do this until they have spoken with their Director of Graduate Studies prior to the beginning of the fall term.your immediate and long-term academic requirements.
