The Graduate School enrolls a number of students from other institutions who apply to follow specific academic objectives including enrolling in Princeton graduate courses, conducting advanced research as part of a collaborative research relationship, consulting with our faculty or using special research collections, or some combination of these.
Typically, nondegree students are enrolled for one term or, at most one academic year. There are several types of nondegree students, depending on the student’s proposed plan of study, and a number of inter-institutional programs through which students can come to Princeton.
