Mindfulness and Meditation Lunch: Dealing with Criticism
Most of us spend time worrying about criticism in our personal and professional interactions. Others often point out what we are doing wrong in subtle ways - by giving advice, helping or teaching when we don’t really need it, making corrections, comparing us negatively to others or focusing on the one error in the research paper while staying quiet about the 99 other phenomenal ideas. This mindfulness workshop will address the inevitability of criticism, and provide an opportunity to practice ways to take it in with good grace. Facilitated by Shefalika Gandhi, LCSW. A healthy lunch will be served. The event is free. This event is open to Princeton University Graduate students. Spouses/partners may also attend with permission. Sign-ups are strongly encouraged but a number of walk-ins will also be allowed. Sign up with Olivia at email@example.com.
