Mindfulness and Meditation Lunch: Mindfulness and the Mind-Body Connection
In this workshop you will understand the effects of our minds on our bodies and vice versa. We need to attend to both our minds and our bodies in order to be balanced and healthy. You will learn how our bodies respond to the way that we think, feel, and act and practice mindfulness techniques that will help you to develop a positive mind-body connection. Facilitated by Shefalika Gandhi, LCSW, and Kathy Wagner, CHES. A healthy lunch will be served. The event is free. Sign-ups are encouraged but a number of walk-ins will also be allowed.
