Mindfulness and Meditation Lunch: The Mindful Academic
Learn mindful breathing skills, which in turn can have a positive effect on academic performance. A few minutes of mindful breathing during the beginning of each day can help students to better cope with daily stressors and reduce their overall anxiety. The practice of mindful breathing can guide students to create relaxation and calmness, enhance focus, reduce stress, manage reactions and emotions, and feel more at ease with test taking. Facilitated by: Shefalika Gandhi, LCSW. Healthy lunch will be served. The event is free. Sign-ups are encouraged but a number of walk-ins also will be allowed. Please sign up with Olivia at omartel@princeton.edu. Sponsored by University Health Services and the Graduate School.
