Mindfulness and Meditation Lunch: Mindfulness of Winter
As seasons change and there is less sunlight, it is common for many students to encounter their winter mood. In this workshop, students will become aware of how they respond to winter. By practicing mindfulness, they will develop the mind's capacity to become more appreciative of what’s here instead of focused on what isn’t here. They will learn ways to practice acceptance in self, others, and in nature. Facilitated by: Shefalika Gandhi, LCSW. Healthy lunch will be served. The event is free. Sign-ups are encouraged but a number of walk-ins will also be allowed. Please sign up with Olivia at email@example.com. Sponsored by University Health Services and the Graduate School.
