Mindfulness and Meditation Lunch: Relaxation and Better Sleep
In this workshop you will learn how to relate to your "worry" thoughts so than you can improve the quality of your sleep and reduce stress. Mindfulness meditation can help you to disengage from thoughts and feelings that keep you up at night. You can experience greater emotional balance and less sleep disturbances by practicing deep relaxation techniques. Simply being mindful of your thoughts and quieting your mental chatter may be enough to induce some much needed sleep. Good sleep is a skill that can be learned by practicing mindfulness and utilizing sleep strategies. Facilitated by Shefalika Gandhi, LCSW and Jonathan Pastor, PhD. A healthy lunch will be served.
The event is free. Sign-ups are encouraged but a number of walk-ins will also be allowed. Sign up with Olivia at omartel@princeton.edu. Sponsored by University Health Services and the Graduate School.
