âA Seat for Rosaâ?
Alicia Washington, president of the non-profit Yearning to Learn program, brings her current production of âA Seat for Rosaâ? to the Princeton Public Library. Washington has worked extensively off-Broadway, has acted in dozens of roles in regional theatres throughout the country, and has guest starred on TV programs such as Law and Order and Ally McBeal. âA Seat for Rosaâ? is a play which chronicles the day that civil rights pioneer Rosa Parks took her epic stand for equality and justice. The performance also reveals significant events in the struggle for constitutional rights and human dignity for all Americans. The event is free and no sign-up is required.
