Federal Work Study Information for Students
The Federal Work Study (FWS) application deadline is Monday, April 21, 2014. Applicants will be notified of the decision by the Graduate School in mid-June.
Please note: There is a better chance of you obtaining a summer FWS position if you are able to identify a specific faculty member with whom you wish to work.
Complete the following steps in order to apply for summer FWS:
- 2014-15 FAFSA
File the 2014-15 FAFSA by April 21, 2014 for be considered for summer work study. The 2014-15 FAFSA is available online.
The FAFSA is used to determine your eligibility for federal aid.
NOTE: You must list Princeton’s Federal School Code on the FAFSA; Princeton’s code is 002627.
- Summer Work Study Application
Download the FWS Student Application and return the completed and signed application to the Graduate School Office, 104 Clio Hall, by April 21, 2014.
- 2013 Tax Return
Submit a copy of your completed and signed 2013 federal income tax return to the Graduate School Office,104 Clio Hall, by April 21, 2014. If you were not required to file a federal tax return, submit a signed statement indicating your sources and amounts of income during calendar year 2013.
