Informal Discussion on Pediatric HIV/AIDS Research, Stephen Nicholas
Speaker: Dr. Stephen Nicholas, professor of Clinical of Population and Family Health; assistant dean for Admissions, College of Physicians and Surgeons; professor of Clinical of Pediatrics, College of Physicians & Surgeons; director, Columbia University International Family AIDS Program -- Dr. Stephen Nicholas is a dean for admissions at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons, and he is also an HIV/AIDS researcher who has worked on projects in New York as well as the Dominican Republic. On March 29th he will give two talks: at 4:30 he will describe his research for those interested in global health and particularly HIV, and at 5:30 he will discuss Columbia P&S and provide some insights about admissions and about what makes Columbia’s program unique.
