Glucose - Blood Sugar
It is important to measure glucose as an indication of the risk of or presence of diabetes. Type II diabetes is the most common type. Left untreated, diabetes can increase the risk of heart disease, as well as cause nerve, kidney and eye damage. Amputations can also be the result of untreated diabetes.
