For Students

In addition to the free mental health care at Counseling and Psychological Services, students may access off-campus care in community using their insurance coverage

UHS also offers a special Mental Health Loan Program through which graduate or undergraduate students may apply for up to $1,250 in loans per semester to cover outside mental health counseling costs. The loan program may be used for deductibles, excess balances after payment by your health plan and continuation of therapy after the maximum benefits have been reached on your health plan.
