The 2012 summer workshop of Princeton’s Classical Philosophy Program was held in Athens, on the premises of the Norwegian Archaeological Institute. As in previous years, the general topic was Aristotle’s philosophy of nature, in particular his treatise On Sense Perception (De sensu). Ten graduate students and three faculty from Princeton participated, their travel and accommodation generously funded by the Program in Hellenic Studies, the Departments of Classics and Philosophy, and the Classical Philosophy program. On the Greek side, the group from Princeton was joined by nine graduate students from all over Greece, as well as four faculty from Athens and one from the University of California (Santa Barbara).
