Paying for Meals
Community Members & TigerCard Holders Without a Meal Plan
- Online through the TigerCard Office. Purchases may be made via Visa or MasterCard on a secure website. When on the TigerCard website, select “How to Buy Paw Points,” then select “Online,” then “Make a Deposit,” and select “I Agree.” Select “Add Cash Now,” and where it requests a PUID number & last 2 digits of SS number, enter only the 11-digit number from the CJL Dining Card. You may then enter the amount you wish to place on the card. Paw Points will be added instantly. Please note that cards have an expiration date.
- TigerCard Paw Points VTS machine in the Frist Campus Center, 100-level, across the street from the CJL. This unattended kiosk accepts cash only and is available during Frist Campus Center business hours. A Bank of America ATM is located on the 100-Level in the Frist Campus Center.
- In person at the TigerCard office, New South, 3rd floor. Purchases may be made by cash, check or credit card at the TigerCard office.
Meal Prices for Guests & Conferees
The following meal prices are for guests and conferees, those who are not affiliated with Princeton University (non-PUID holders). Please note that Passover meal prices are listed separately.

Young Professionals
Young professionals, including students visiting from other colleges, may purchase Shabbat dinner in advance for $10 (only if purchasing in advance). Please e-mail Ruth Palmer, CJL Administrator, to arrange for an advance purchase of a Shabbat or holiday meal.
Prospective Students
The CJL is pleased to provide prospective students, undergraduate or graduate, with a guest meal in the CJL dining hall. Stop by the CJL Welcome Desk or contact CJL Administrator, Ruth Palmer, so a meal pass will be waiting for you when you arrive. Families of prospective students are also welcome to dine in the kosher dining hall by purchasing meals with Paw Points. Please refer to instructions on Paying for Meals page.
