MAW: Post-Election Discussion Panel 11/20/08
We will be hosting a Post-Election Discussion Panel. The format will consist of brief (15-20 minute) presentations by each of the three panelists on the theme of the historical significance of the 2008 U.S. presidential election. Then, after a brief commentary, the floor will be open for questions and discussion.
The three invited panelists are:
Mae Ngai (Lung Professor of Asian American Studies, Columbia University);
Alan Brinkley (Allan Nevins Professor of History, Columbia University); and
David Farber (Professor of U.S. History, Temple University).
The commentator will be Julian Zelizer (Professor of History and Public Affairs, Princeton University).
