What is the Dossier Service?
Applying for jobs can seem like a job unto itself. The History Department offers the Dossier Service to its students and alumni to support their job search and successful job placement. The Dossier Service provides a centralized location for all of your application materials, and submits those materials on your behalf to job listings per your request. Think of it like a cloud drive...except it fulfills job submissions for you and it's stewarded by two people—the Placement Officer and the Graduate Program Assistant—who care passionately about your success!
As a Dossier User, you 1) activate an online account, 2) upload your application materials and let us know from whom you’ve requested letters of recommendation or transcripts, and 3) submit job requests. We take it from there…
- If you are currently enrolled in the History or History of Science graduate programs, please visit the Enrolled Graduate Student Resources site for more information about the service, and to learn how you can activate and manage your Dossier Account.
- If you are alumni, contact the Graduate Program Assistant (Jackie Wasneski, email@example.com) to request more information. **Please note: In order to use the Dossier Service alumni will need to enter their alumni ID and password. If you do not have an alumni ID, you can obtain one by regis tering with TigerNet Services.**
