HOS/HIS 7## Student Initiated Reading Courses
When students wish to develop some field or topic which cannot be covered in the formal program of reading and research seminars, they may request permission to take a specially arranged graduate reading course with a particular member of the faculty who, in turn, is prepared to offer such a course. Such courses may assume a wide variety of forms: they may be research or reading oriented, and they may involve three or more students. For details on exploring this option or completing the required paperwork, currently enrolled students should consult the Enrolled Graduate Student Resources.
