Host Sign-up
We need current students to provide a place for visiting students to sleep and, above all, to introduce them to the Princeton experience!
During Princeton Preview, hosts will pick up visiting students at 4:30 p.m on the first day of the program (Thursday or Monday) and see them off on the last morning of the program (Saturday or Wednesday). Admitted students are assigned prox cards to enter residential buildings, but need access to hosts' rooms and a comfortable area to sleep. Hosts are invited, but not mandated, to participate in some of the events .
Before Princeton Preview, registered hosts must attend a MANDATORY meeting in McCosh 50 at either of the following times:
Wednesday, April 3 at 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, April 4 at 6:30 p.m.
Ready to sign up to host? Register here! If you were recruited by a Princeton Preview Captain in your residential college, be sure to credit him or her.
What if I can't meet my admitted student at 4:30 p.m. on the first day of the program?
Send a proxy to meet your student, take him/her to your room, and, if you are still unavailable, take him/her to dinner in your residential college. You do not need to register your proxy when you sign up, but please be sure he/she will be available.
Which weekend should I host?
Whichever works best for you. If you have the time, sign up for both!
What if I am hosting my brother, sister, or friend? Do I still need to sign up to host?
YES! Please indicate the name of the student you would like to host on the registration form. We need to have a complete record of admitted students staying on campus for security and safety purposes.
What food arrangements are made?
The Admission Office provides for admitted students' meals.

What is a Princeton Preview Captain?
A Princeton Preview Captain is someone in your residential college who is recruiting hosts and managing several aspects of the Princeton Preview activities held in your college. If you were recruited by a captain in your residential college, please indicate his or her name on the sign-up page.
For other questions about hosting, send us an e-mail at hosting@princeton.edu, or contact your residential college staff for more information!
