An Update on Biochemistry
Hi HPA: Can you tell me where Biochem is really required? Should I definitely take it? I’m a freshman who is trying to plan her science courses for the next few years. Thanks!
Answer: We just updated the list of medical schools requiring Biochemistry. As of October 2011, there are 18 U.S. schools and 6 Canadian schools that require the course for admission, and many, many more that are still recommending it. This list has grown somewhat since we last did an

Question: I am a freshman and I just want to make sure I don’t miss the chance to find an internship for the summer. I don’t see specific internships listed on the HPA website. Am I missing something? Can you give me advice about where to look and what kinds of internships are a good idea to consider?
