Our 2010 Benefits Open Enrollment Confirmation Period is now underway through Friday, December 4, 2009. You will have one final opportunity to make changes to your 2010 benefits elections and verify your dependent eligibility for coverage for 2010.
The University is pleased to announce a new collaboration between Princeton and Lotsa Helping Hands, to provide faculty, staff, graduate students and retirees with a Web-based service during times of need to build a community, known as your own “circle of community.” You or your family members can coordinate responsibilities, get assistance with organizing the activities of daily living and communicate with your family, friends and neighbors. This is a no–cost, confidential service.
The selection committees are now accepting nominations for 2009-2010 President's Achievement Award and 2010 Griffin '23 Management Award. Anyone can recommend an employee to be nominated. Nominations must be supported by the appropriate dean, vice president, or academic chair or director, and can be submitted from now through Monday, January 11, 2010. Award recipients will be honored at the Service Recognition Luncheon on March 24, 2010, in Jadwin Gymnasium.
Princeton University launched its 2009 United Way Campaign, held annually, on November 11. It will conclude on December 2. All members of the community are invited to participate. A letter describing the Campaign and a pledge card were sent to faculty, staff and retirees.
The Martin Luther King Day Celebration Committee invites you to submit nominations for the 2010 Journey Awards from today through Friday, December 4, 2009.
The University's Benefits Committee asked that the Office of Human Resources verify the eligibility of each faculty and staff member's dependents enrolled in Princeton's healthcare plans, including medical, dental and vision benefits, prior to the completion of the 2010 Open Enrollment Period.
