University Receives UWGMC Campaign Excellence Award for 2013

Princeton University was honored with the United Way of Greater Mercer County’s Campaign Excellence Award for 2013 at a luncheon on Thursday, June 13, at Greenacres Country Club in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. On hand to accept the award was Jaclyn Immordino, campaign coordinator for the University’s United Way Campaign and communications and events specialist for Princeton University’s Office of Human Resources.

The November campaign raised $161, 980 in contributions from faculty, staff and retirees. The University matched gifts with 15 cents on the dollar for every payroll deduction contribution and 10 cents on the dollar for all other gifts, for a total University contribution of $22,014. In all, the University’s United Way Campaign raised $183,994 for the United Way of Greater Mercer County to distribute as designated.
